Other Programs

There are some national and international education programs that might be of interest to the performers, both amateur and professional, served by the Early Music Guild.  This page lists ongoing, established programs - not occasional workshops.  If you would like your program listed by EMG, please contact emg@earlymusicguild.org for further details.

Interlochen Early Music Workshop

Interlochen College of Creative Arts offers a comprehensive collection of
arts education and professional development programs.  Adult participants
include professional musicians, amateur musicians, music educators, band
directors, conductors, etc.  Classes are based on the campus of
Interlochen Center for the Arts, in the woods of northern Michigan.
Please visit us online to review the past summer 2008 adult music
programs including our Early Music Workshop.  The Interlochen Early Music
Workshop focuses on early techniques, articulation, ornamentation,
improvisation and ensemble arrangement in medieval and renaissance music.
The workshop culminates with a participant performance on period
instruments under the direction of Mark Cudek.
