Taken from the ancient Icelandic Edda legends, The Rheingold Curse
is better known as the plot material for Wagner's Ring operas. Director
Benjamin Bagby presents this semi-staged saga of greed and revenge with
Agnethe Christensen and Lena Susanne Norin, voices; Elizabeth Gaver,
Medieval fiddle; and Norbert Rodenkirchen, flutes and lyre. The
Rheingold Curse is sung in ancient Icelandic with English
supertitles.
