The Tallis Scholars was founded in 1973 by their director, Peter
Phillips. Through their recordings and concert performances, they have
established themselves as the leading exponents of Renaissance sacred
music throughout the world. Their program will reveal the richness of
the Spanish High Baroque with an entire mass by Alonso Lobo, the
complete Lamentations of Jeremiah by Tomás Luis de Victoria, and works
by Francisco Guerrero, Cristobal de Morales, and others.
