Description
Founded in
1908 by Swedish immigrants, the present sanctuary was dedicated in 1954.
A recent physical and acoustical renovation of the sanctuary and new pipe
organ (Marceau & Associates, Portland, OR) has led it to hosting regular
concerts by medieval and baroque music groups, as well as a range of
recitals and workshops.

Ave. just one block north-east of the entrance to the Green Lake parking area
and the Green Lake Library.

the exit merges onto 6th Ave NE, turn RIGHT (West) onto N.E. 72nd St.
At the second crossroad turn RIGHT (North) onto Woodland Ave. NE. Go
three blocks to Latona Ave. NE. Bethany Lutheran Church is located
right at the at the corner of Woondland Ave NE and Latona Ave. NE.
The main entrance to the church is located on Lantona Ave. NE.

South - Heading North on I-5
Take Exit number 170 for Ravenna Blvd. & N.E. 65th St. Turn LEFT
(North-West) onto Ravenna Blvd. Travel 0.4 miles to the 5-way stop
sign/light at Woodlawn Ave. NE. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT (North) (North)
onto Woodland Ave. NE. Go five blocks to Latona Ave. NE.

Ave NE and Latona Ave. NE. The main entrance to the church is
located on Lantona Ave. NE.

Turn LEFT (East) onto N 80TH ST. Turn RIGHT (South) onto 1ST
AVE NE. Drive two blocks and make a SLIGHT LEFT (South-East) turn
onto WOODLAWN AVE NE. Drive two blocks to Latona Ave. NE.

Woodlawn Ave NE. Un-metered street parking is can usually be found
