ZEPHYRUS is a Seattle-based ensemble that brings together some of this country's finest early music performers. Founding members Courtney Westcott, flute, and Ingrid Matthews, violin, are joined by Linda Tsatsanis, soprano, John Lenti, lute, Jennifer Streeter, harpsichord and Elisabeth Reed, viola da gamba in their current program Soiree Musicale: Luscious and dramatic music from Paris and Versailles. Since its founding in 1991, ZEPHYRUS has performed throughout the United States and Canada, and has been heard on NPR's "Performance Today."
