A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Sunday March 17, 1pm
Town Hall Downstairs
This fully-costumed Shakespearean extravaganza takes you through the streets of Elizabethan London and into a performance of the bard’s most endearing comedy. Music fills the air, from the tunefully hilarious calls of the vegetable sellers in the marketplace to the songs of Queen Titania’s forest sprites and on to the merry Renaissance dancing that concludes the show. Returning from two previous sold-out Early Music Discovery shows, the kids of Seattle Historical Arts take center stage, accompanied by director Shulamit Kleinerman’s band of period instruments.
Our performances are possible only through the generous support and loyalty of friends like you. Please invest in great early music with a generous tax-deductible contribution to Early Music Guild.
