“The world’s reigning male chorus” (The New Yorker) opens Early Music Guild’s 40th Season with a program that explores the power of water to redeem, restore, and refresh the human soul. With works from Renaissance master Thomas Morley, to contemporary Paul Simon, and mighty African-American spirituals, Chanticleer offers an evening of hope through compelling a cappella.

“The singing of Chanticleer is breathtaking in its accuracy of intonation, purity of blend, variety of color and swagger of style.” –The Boston Globe
