Courtney Kuroda resides in the Seattle area and is an active performer of Baroque music with local ensembles such as Seattle Baroque Orchestra, Seattle Early Dance, Baroque Northwest and Ensemble Amarelli. She has also performed throughout the U.S. with a variety of period chamber ensembles and orchestras, including Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, LA Baroque, Ars Antigua in Chicago, Ensemble Mirable and Opera Lafayette in Washington D.C., as well as performing at the Bloomington Early Music Festival and Boston Early Music Festival. Ms. Kuroda received her Master’s degree in performance from the Early Music Institute at Indiana University where she studied Baroque violin with Stanley Ritchie. She has recorded for Naxos and ATMA labels with Opera Lafayette and Seattle Baroque.
