Seattle Baroque kicks off the season with Bach violin concertos accompanied by full orchestra featuring our own internationally acclaimed violinist Ingrid Matthews, whose recording of the complete solo works of Bach was hailed in American Record Guide as the “top recommendation for this music… on either modern or period instrument.” Also on this program are orchestral suites and fantasias by Henry Purcell, the great 17th-century English master of wonderful song tunes, rich counterpoint, and exuberant dances.
Our performances are possible only through the generous support and loyalty of friends like you. Please invest in great early music with a generous tax-deductible contribution to Early Music Guild.
