Music Director Alexander Weimann leads the Orchestra in a tribute to Georg Philipp Telemann and his iconic publication Tafelmusik. Meaning “table music,” Telemann’s work presents a diverse set of instruments and features trumpet and violin concerti. The program also includes larger orchestral works, festive suites and concertos, and intimate chamber pieces by the prolific Baroque composer and his contemporaries Carl Heinrich Graun and Christoph Graupner.

“…playing on period instruments under Alexander Weimann, is never less than ideal.” -Classics Today
