Capitol Hill, Seattle

7:00pm | Hors d’oeuvres
7:30pm | Tasting

In anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day, Early Music Guild and Early Music Underground invite you to an exclusive “Tasting Notes” private house concert and single malt whiskey tasting led by Adam Irving of Scotchology.com at a beautiful private home on Capitol Hill.

You will have the opportunity to taste four premium whiskies from Scotland, France, and America focusing on the extraordinary effect of cask finishes, along with the wines and spirits that imparted the cask flavors. In between the tastings, enjoy a fine selection of rarely heard pieces by Irish and Scottish Baroque composers as well as new and old Traditional Celtic music performed by Michael Albert (Portland, ME) and Brandon Vance (Seattle, WA) on baroque violins/fiddles along with Henry Lebedinsky on cittern and harpsichord. Michael, Brandon, and Henry will also provide an in-depth look into this wonderful and intriguing repertoire.

Seating is strictly limited to 40 people – advance ticket purchase required. Directions to the house will be provided with RSVP.
